The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced people leader and strategic problem solver to head up our Medical Affairs Chapter in the UK. As a Medical Affairs Chapter Lead, you'll empower cross-functional squads through capability building, champion a high-performing culture, and ensure our medical affairs expertise meets both today's and tomorrow's needs. You'll lead a group of dedicated Medical Lead Managers, shape foundational and future-focused work, and ensure we remain a trusted scientific partner for patients and stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop people: Provide coaching and guidance to 1st line Medical Lead managers and their teams, ensuring growth, well-being and alignment with business needs.
  • Set strategic direction: Define and drive chapter focus areas in alignment with affiliate and portfolio ambitions.
  • Enable delivery: Collaborate with Medical Leads and squads to match capability with demand, balancing foundational and squad-driven work.
  • Foster a thriving culture: Promote a psychologically safe, inclusive and collaborative environment where people bring their whole selves to work.
  • Champion expertise: Advance medical affairs capabilities in insight generation, education, patient support, and compliant data generation.
  • Safeguard governance: Ensure that all activities meet the highest standards in compliance, ethics, patient safety and scientific integrity.
