Join the UKIE Vaccines team as a Medical Advisor for Adult Vaccines. You will be responsible and accountable for building and delivering the medical affairs plan within the Adult Vaccines therapy area across the UK, working closely under the leadership of the MCO Franchise Medical Head.
Main responsibilities:
- Be the accountable medical team member to develop and deliver on specific medical activities within their franchise.
- Provide medical input to the franchise team within their therapy area to ensure all activities are conducted to high standards consistent with current legal and ethical considerations and Corporate policy.
- Develop and implement elements of the therapy area Evidence Generation Programme to meet local business, regulatory, access, and ethical requirements.
- Interact with Key External Experts (KEE) to deliver the therapy area medical affairs plan, meeting KEE needs, compliance requirements, and ethical considerations.
- Support ethical compliance within the therapy area by working collaboratively and proactively with compliance, transparency, and other divisions.
- Provide proactive medical support to other functions in the aligned therapy teams where required (e.g., Tender and dossier submissions).
About you
- Qualified as a UK Registered Health Care Professional or possess a higher level degree in scientific/life sciences.
- Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines, Medicines Act, Human Medicines Regulations, ABPI Code of Practice, and experience of their implementation in a business environment.
- Knowledge of medical affairs including clinical trial design, management, analysis, and reporting, including GCP.
- Preferred knowledge of specific products and related therapeutic areas.
- Knowledge of the structure of the NHS and UK healthcare environment.
