Job summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Administrator to become an integral part of our welcoming and fast-paced primary care team. In this vital role, you'll help keep our operations running like clockwork supporting day-to-day tasks, streamlining processes, and ensuring patients and healthcare professionals receive exceptional service every step of the way.

Haven Health is located in Felixstowe with easy access and within 20 minutes of Ipswich.

Whilst you will need Primary Care experience, if required, training will be given in unfamiliar aspects of this role.

Main duties of the job
  • This is a varied role providing administrative support across the practice.
  • Manage the completion of medical reports and insurance requests.
  • Managing petty cash and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and create clinical rotas.
  • Maintain accurate data entry into clinical system (SystmOne).
  • Online patient access.
  • Support clinicians and management with day-to-day tasks and projects.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Liaise with patients, GPs, nurses, and external healthcare providers.

Job responsibilities

The Medical Administrator role is to oversee and take responsibility for the administrative aspects of the practice. As part of a team of administrators, you will be responsible for various administrative duties and accountable to the Manager and Partners.

Working closely with all members of the practice to meet agreed partnership aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe, and effective working environment while maintaining a happy and committed team.

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
  • Good written command of the English language.
