Brook Street is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a Band 4 Medical Administrative Assistant at Causeway Hospital in Coleraine! If you are organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting medical staff, we want to hear from you!

• £12.86 per hour.
• 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Causeway Hospital, Coleraine
• Temp ongoing

What you will do:

• Streamline Locum Procurement: Help us find the best locum medical staff while ensuring compliance with our Trust's Locum Policy. Your insights will be invaluable!
• Master of Payments: Manage payments for additional hours and locum cover, securing necessary approvals and processing claims efficiently.
• Record-Keeping Champion: Maintain accurate records on locum procurement and staff leave using our departmental databases.
• Leave Coordination Collaborator: Work with your fellow Medical Administrative Assistants to coordinate leave plans seamlessly.
• Induction Organiser: Welcome newly appointed medical staff, including locums, with engaging departmental induction sessions.

Who We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English.
• Previous secretarial or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
