Title: Media Solutions Lead, BT Group

Location: London

Reports to: VP, Media Solutions, BT Group

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, experienced Media Solutions Lead for the BT Group account. This role requires comprehensive media agency experience, particularly in planning and buying. The role involves understanding the marketplace, identifying innovation areas, and applying these insights to BT Group campaigns.

The Lead will manage a team of Media Solutions professionals, fostering collaboration within the team and with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 50+ media practitioners across paid search, paid social, programmatic, AV and reservation display/audio.
  • Become a trusted advisor to BT Group, influencing strategy and challenging when necessary.
  • Manage risks & opportunities for all channels across the team, including escalating necessary issues.
  • Drive revenue across this key client account and support business growth initiatives (such as pitching) in the EMEA region.
  • Oversee department growth by assisting with recruitment, interviewing and hiring.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and suppliers and lead team communications with these stakeholders, with a particular focus on the EE Media Leads.
  • Continually monitor and improve client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to agency-wide continuous improvement projects regarding processes and quality standards.
  • Promote collaboration with other teams (Data & MarTech, Ad Operations, Planning and CS) to ensure optimal results for clients.

About You

  • Extensive digital experience with strategic planning and running large-scale activity across paid search, paid social, programmatic and direct IO media.
  • Proven track record in defining and leading large client relationships and digital marketing campaigns on fast-moving B2C & B2B accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with experience of presenting and securing buy-in at the highest level.
  • Passionate about digital and well versed on the latest industry trends and news.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with scaling campaigns and managing different stakeholders.
