We are currently looking for a Media, PR & Digital Manager to join our team.

About the role:

The Media, PR & Digital Manager leads and supports the delivery of flexible, cost-effective and class-leading media, marketing, and digital communications. This role ensures this charity achieves its objectives across campaigns, fundraising and policy through targeted and effective profile building in the media and across multiple online platforms.

The post holder will manage media communications activities, delivered in-house or outsourced as appropriate, to meet the needs of this charity while maintaining the charity's image, values and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

Media & Public Relations:

  1. Proactively explore national and regional opportunities for media coverage, establishing effective media links to raise the profile of the organisation.
  2. Lead and coordinate integrated media campaigns alongside digital marketing efforts for maximum impact and coverage.
  3. Support communication with this charity's internal and external stakeholders on sensitive media matters.

Marketing & Digital Communications:

  1. Manage and coordinate the use of digital channels, including intranets, websites and social media.
  2. Lead the development and support of the DAMS (Marketing Hub) to facilitate effective brand and campaign management.
  3. Contribute to the production of high-quality, on-brand marketing materials, ensuring they meet deadlines and engage target audiences.
  4. Assist with website development and paid digital marketing campaigns.
  5. Develop and maintain this charity's social media channels and other digital communication platforms.

Requirements:

  1. Degree graduate or equivalent and experience in a communications environment.
  2. Experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience in developing and maintaining good working relations with journalists and media specialists.
  4. Excellent written and verbal skills with good attention to detail.
  5. Understanding of principles of media, PR, social media and communications.
