We're accredited with Investors in People Silver Standard. Our people are our greatest asset, and we want individuals who can contribute to our purpose in line with our values.
You’ll use your positive attitude and skills to support our Communications & Public Affairs Team in developing and delivering our campaign for the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections. Our campaign audiences include RCN activists and members, the media, politicians, and the wider public.
It's a job full of possibilities. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, from developing messaging for social media to writing for our website, speaking to journalists, and supporting events. It's a great way to build your communication expertise and develop your potential.
To succeed in this role, you will already have experience in a communications or public affairs role, including knowledge of media relations, digital communications, and campaigns.
A self-starter, you will have an eye for detail and an interest in healthcare, news, and current affairs. You will possess excellent research, planning, and writing skills to present often complex information in a way that meets the audience's needs.
You’ll be accustomed to working in a busy team, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
