Responsibilities: As a Mechatronic Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with the Senior Engineer to drive the design, development, and evaluation of PCBs and embedded firmware.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing subcomponents of core firmware
2. Assisting in PCB design and development
3. Conducting hardware and firmware testing for quality assurance and debugging
4. Managing relationships with third-party vendors
5. Integrating electronics and firmware with production engineers and technicians
6. Refurbishing faulty PCBs
7. Supporting certifications (CE, UL, FCC, etc.)
8. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes and designs

The ideal candidate:

1. Engineering degree in electronics, robotics, or mechatronics
2. Advanced experience in firmware development
3. Proficiency in C/C++, Python
4. Hands-on experience with PCB design
5. Familiarity with Arduino or similar prototyping environments
6. Strong team player mentality
7. Adaptability to thrive in a startup environment
8. Self-guided and driven to excel
9. Previous experience in project coordination or management
10. Excellent communication skills
