The below job description outlines the position of: Fast Rescue Craft/Marine Engineer.

Typically, this person will perform repairs on our fast rescue and daughter craft aboard our fleet of Emergency Response and Rescue vessels, as well as in our in-house repair workshops.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Marine Engineer:
  1. Ensuring shipboard repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and within the designated time frame.
  2. Performing tasks to the highest level of quality and professionalism.
  3. Maintaining up-to-date company-approved Planned Maintenance records.
  4. Offering out-of-hours support as needed.
  5. Actively supporting and advancing the company's QHSE policies.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Marine Engineer:
  1. The ideal candidate should be computer literate and have a full driving licence.
  2. Good understanding of petrol 2/4 stroke engines or diesel engines.
  3. Marine or general Engineering background preferred, such as light vehicle, motorcycle, or HGV mechanical knowledge.
  4. 12-volt electrics and marine industry knowledge advantageous.
