Mechanical Technician

Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Modifications Technicians to support our clients Rail project in Long Marston.

The Opportunity
You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential modifications to the interior of trains, working on windows and interior components. Ensuring work is completed and finished to a high standard.

Contract Length: 6 Months, inside IR35 (Paid through an umbrella company)
Location(s): Long Marston

Key Role and Responsibilities

1. Mechanical repairs
2. Exterior repairs
3. Interior repairs
4. Modifications and repairs to windows
5. Modifications and repairs to interior components

Essentials

1. NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
2. Mechanically experienced
3. Previous experience of mechanical building and modifications
4. Flexible to work weekends, as may be required with project demands
5. Enjoy working as part of a team

Desirables

1. Commutable to Long Marston
2. Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
3. Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background
4. FLT Licence
