Please note - this is NOT an IT role.

This could suit someone who has just finished an Apprenticeship.

What You Will Do:

1. Lead quality assurance processes, including ISIR and 8D, to ensure the highest standards of product performance.
2. Conduct rigorous testing and validation, including pressure, torque, and robustness, to meet and exceed industry standards.
3. Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving inquiries and issues with efficiency and professionalism.
4. Investigate product failures, generating detailed reports to drive improvements.
5. Manage and maintain CAD data and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize product designs for manufacturability and ease of assembly.

What You Will Bring:

1. HNC qualification or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Over 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and manufacturing environments.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD software and a deep understanding of design for manufacture and assembly principles.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
5. Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively both in teams and independently.

Location: This exciting opportunity is based at the company's state-of-the-art facility, located in Dudley.
