Due to continued growth and a busy project pipeline, they are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Mechanical Supervisor to join their team, based in Peterborough. The Role
As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supervision of mechanical works on-site. You will ensure all installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards while working closely with engineers, subcontractors, and project managers on high-value industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise mechanical installations on industrial sites
2. Ensure work is carried out to spec, safely and efficiently
3. Lead toolbox talks and enforce site H&S protocols
4. Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Monitor progress against programme and report to project management
6. Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
7. Complete daily/weekly site reports and ensure all site paperwork is accurate and up to date
8. Support commissioning and handover phases
9. Maintain strong working relationships with site teams, suppliers, and clients

Required Qualifications & Experience

1. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing / Pipefitting (or equivalent)
2. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) - Essential
3. CSCS Supervisor Card - Preferred
4. Proven experience supervising mechanical works on industrial or commercial sites
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, including pipework, plant rooms, HVAC systems
6. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
7. Full UK Driving Licence
8. Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable (But Not Essential)

1. First Aid at Work
2. IOSH Managing Safely
3. PASMA / IPAF
4. Experience with QA documentation and handover packs
