Job description

Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Mechanical Site Supervisor ideally possessing an associated trade qualification (M&E, pipe welding/fitting, building services, HVAC, groundworks / civil works).


Your role will be to visit/supervise multiple construction sites around the UK and liaise with site personnel, Project Managers, and client representatives to deliver successful installations smoothly, on time and within a safe working environment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with contract team regarding current projects and status.
  2. Liaise with site teams to check/monitor Health & Safety Compliance.
  3. Carrying out site toolbox talks, & mentor installers.
  4. Participating in H&S meetings and site audits to ensure team working to client RAMS.
  5. Attend site meetings to assist contracts team.
  6. Communication between site teams and office.
  7. Assisting with Plant Hires/Off Hires, Deliveries & site clearances.
  8. Monitoring/Checking Installer Plant & Tool certifications, & PPE suitability.
  9. Conduct site surveys as directed by the Contracts Team.
  10. Commissioning duties to completed installations.
  11. Alarm Wire Surveys as directed by Contracts Team.

Required Skills / Experience
  1. SSSTS / SMSTS /CSCS/ISOH.
  2. CPCS Lift Supervisor.
  3. Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
  5. Must be hardworking, reliable and possess a good work ethic.
  6. Must be able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.

If successful, you will receive the following:

  1. 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
  2. £6000 Car allowance.
  3. 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
