Mechanical Superintendent - Long-Term Contract (East Yorkshire, Outside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join a major long-term project in the chemical and process industries. This is a contract position outside of IR35, offering the flexibility of a self-employed role with competitive rates and long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all mechanical activities on-site and ensure smooth operation of mechanical systems.
2. Lead and manage mechanical teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
3. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
4. Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless project operations.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that may arise.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent within the chemical and process industries.
2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
4. Immediate availability preferred.
