Position: Mechanical Site Supervisor - Thames
Location: Rickmansworth or Walthamstow with responsibility for multiple sites
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (neg DOE) (inside IR35)
Duration: 12 months +
Our Client: Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances.
The Role: Our client is looking to strengthen their Construction team with 2 Mechanical Site Supervisors based in the Thames Region. You will report directly to the M&E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor and your role will supervise and control all mechanical site activities in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time without risk to the health and safety of all concerned and providing a quality end product, ensuring a Quality installation with all ITR's completed as the work progresses.
Experience: Several years' experience working in the water sector or another process industry. Understands pipework fabrication, pressure testing, welding and erection. Recognises quality welding. Can punch and snag pipelines in accordance with Isometric, GA and P&ID drawings. HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or good apprenticeship in pipework and welding along with experience. SSSTS, CSCS, First Aider.
