Involve Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee Mechanical operations for a large scale industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily site operations and manage site staff to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and identify any potential issues.
• Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates and resource allocation.
• Utilise Civil 3D software for planning and design purposes, ensuring all designs meet project requirements.
• Implement effective time management strategies to optimise workflow and productivity across the site.

Experience

• Proven experience in a similar Mechanical Site Manager role, with experience on large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
• HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.
• Mechanical Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) would be an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, plant, and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate large teams and subcontractors.
• Experience with managing mechanical installations such as HVAC systems, plumbing, pumps, and piping.
