Company Description
Sawcraft UK Ltd is an established supplier of saw blades, industrial bandsaw, and circular sawing machines. Based in the West Midlands, Sawcraft supplies and services an extensive customer base throughout the UK and Ireland.
Due to increased growth, we are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer.
Role Description
The engineer will be required to work on a wide range of industrial bandsaw/circular sawing machines:
- Planned/unplanned maintenance
- Routine servicing
- Breakdown and repairs
- Installation and commissioning
- Operator training
- Administration & reporting
The position requires travelling to customers and is based on a 40-hour week.
Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working with metalworking machinery in a mechanical or service role
- Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Previous experience with spare parts and stock control
- Well organized
- Flexible approach to work, occasional overtime, and overnight stays
- I.T literate
- Ability to work independently
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- No out of hours or weekend calls
- Company van, private use is permitted but classed as a taxable benefit
