Job description

A reputable firm in Sheffield is seeking a skilled Mechanical Pump Fitter to join their dynamic team.


Based on 39 hours per week Monday to Friday and offers a very competitive salary of £37,000 - £40,000 (DOE).


This permanent role would also suit somebody with experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Technician / Multi-Skilled Engineer / Pump Technician / Pump Engineer.


Role Essentials:
  1. Conduct precise measurements and analyses to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  2. Apply your mechanical prowess in the maintenance and repair of pumps and rotating equipment.
  3. Utilise industry-standard tools and equipment with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to upholding high-quality standards.

Skills & Experience:
  1. Proven experience in a mechanical environment, specifically within the pump industry.
  2. Proficiency in handling rotating equipment and performing thorough root cause analysis.
  3. Capability to travel for short periods to fulfil specific site work requirements.
  4. A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ L3 or C&G Equivalent).
