Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager - I currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Project Manager to join one of the largest mechanical and electrical contractors in the UK, heading up the mechanical section on a life & science shell & core project.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, your duties will include:

1. Overseeing and leading both direct employees and a number of sub-contractors on site
2. Collaborating with electrical department to ensure seamless project integration
3. Championing health & safety across the whole project
4. Monitoring project process and performance
5. Face to face client liaison and meetings
6. Contributing to project plans, work schedules & resource allocation

The project value is £11 million total with the mechanical package contributing to £6 million. The project start date is August, but the start date will be ASAP to integrate you into the business. This is a full-time on-site position, with a satellite office 15 minutes from the site.

Compensation: The starting basic salary for the Mechanical Project Manager ranges between £65-75k depending on experience. Other benefits include a car allowance of ~£5k per annum, pension contribution up to 5.5%, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as private healthcare.

What we're looking for:

1. Minimum 5 years experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager
2. Ideally a HNC qualification as a minimum
3. SMSTS
4. Ideally previous Tier 1 contractor experience
