Job Description
Due to ongoing expansion, our client is looking for people to help with mechanical work which will include using basic hand tools. The work environment is modern and well-lit.
- Able to use basic hand tools (eg screwdriver, hex driver, scalpel)
- Manual handling skills with good manual dexterity.
- Good attention to detail, able to spot manufacturing faults that may occur.
- Basic visual inspection of mechanical parts.
- Install blanking plates and bungs and mask-off as necessary to prepare metal components for processing and painting.
- Once components have been returned from processing and painting, remove blanking plates, bungs and masking tape.
- Complete basic visual inspection to check components meet specification in terms of finish.
- Wrap and pack components ready for despatch.
