Your new role

As a Mechanical Fitter OR Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment. Your duties will include:

1. Performing routine maintenance and inspections
2. Construction of mechanical OR electrical systems and equipment for engineering drawings
3. Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of mechanical or electrical equipment
4. Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide.
5. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
7. Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in these roles, you will need:

1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter OR Electrical Fitter
2. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
