My client designs, manufactures, and builds machinery and equipment for a multitude of industries. This well-established company based in Leicester has won a large package of work and is looking for Mechanical Fitters with experience in building automated machinery and special machines to assist in the completion of the order. This opportunity would suit an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Machine Tool Fitter who is looking for a new contract opportunity. If this is you, please read on….

THE ROLE OF MECHANICAL FITTER

Disassemble machinery safely and appropriately
Once dismantled, package machinery in appropriate packaging ready for transit
Using a variety of tools
Working with a supervisor
Re-assemble in the new location
Working independently and as part of a team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience of building SPM/ Robotics/ CNC Machines/ Automated Machinery
Can read technical diagrams
Mechanically minded
C&G in engineering is an advantage
Able to build bespoke machines from start to finish
