Are you a Mechanical Fitter with a background in HGVs, heavy plant, or similar, looking for a long-term, stable, days-based role within a well-established and expanding company?

On offer is the chance to work for a fourth-generation, family-owned earth-moving company that began trading 100 years ago with steam engines and now operates one of the largest fleets of steel-bodied tippers and heavy plant in Yorkshire.

This days-based role will have you based at the company's Menskip site, working within a tight-knit team of technicians, conducting planned and reactive servicing on a fleet of modern HGVs and heavy plant. You will also assist in preparing the HGVs for their MOT. While this role is primarily workshop-based, occasional site visits will be required, for which a van will be provided.

THE ROLE

• Service, Maintenance and Repair of HGVs and heavy plant
• PPM, reactive, fault-finding and breakdowns of HGVs and heavy plant
• Monday - Friday (07:00-17:30)

THE PERSON

• Mechanical Fitter or similar
• Full Driving Licence
