The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work for a well-established and expanding business in Burton on Trent. Working as part of a team, you will carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and refurbishment duties, with experience machining on lathes essential.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out strip down on mechanical systems and hydraulic cylinders.
2. Repairs and refurbishments to mechanical parts.
3. General workshop duties such as machining, welding & fabrication.
4. Fault diagnostics.

Candidate Expectations

1. Time served or apprentice trained - mechanical.
2. Experienced working in a workshop environment as a Machinist / Fitter.
3. Hydraulic maintenance / diagnostics experience is desirable but not essential.
4. Manual machining skills, specifically on lathes, are essential.
