Mechanical Fitters - (Birmingham) - Fulltime

PAYE basis

On Offer:

1. Rate of £30.85 per hour - first 39 hours
2. Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank holidays)
3. Lodge/Accommodation rate of £50.13 this is only paid if you meet the requirements which is to be 50+ Miles from site. (This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and Tenancy Agreement, and Booking Receipts)

Overtime When Available:

1. Weekdays and Nights - Time and a Third Pay
2. Weekends - Time and a half Pay

Candidates must have:

1. Mechanical fitting activities associated with the dismantling, inspection, repair and overhaul, assembly, and testing of equipment to deliver the highest quality of repair, on time and to budget, in accordance with company and customer specific HSQE requirements.
2. Dismantle, inspection, condition assessment & subsequent reporting on the received equipment.
3. Competent working with hydraulic systems.
4. Liaise with supervisors and managers to propose repairs, refurbishment, and processes to return identified equipment to a serviceable condition and to the relevant specifications.
5. Carrying out various mechanical fitting activities with a degree of flexibility and integrity and working efficiently to achieve "on time" targets of excellent quality to company procedures.
6. Trade qualification - NVQ 3 or equivalent.
7. CSCS CARD OR ACE CARD.
8. Eligibility to work in the UK.
9. 3 years experience in a similar role & industry experience preferred.
