My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke products. As a Mechanical Fitter, your role will focus on working to engineering drawings, assembling and repairing machinery.

Responsibilities:

1. Working to engineering drawings
2. Assembling, adjusting and repairing machinery
3. Using bench hand tools
4. Wiring electrical components
5. Assist with quality checking the produced machinery
6. Fault finding and testing equipment

Experience:

1. Previous experience working in a Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator position is essential
2. Experienced working to engineering drawings
3. Must have experience using bench hand tools and production machinery
4. Must have a good attention to detail
5. Excellent communication skills are essential
6. Must be a team player
