About the Company:
We're working with a renowned manufacturer at the forefront of designing and producing innovative special purpose machines used across industries worldwide. Known for quality, precision, and performance, they're growing - and looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their experienced team.

The Role:
You'll play a key role in the mechanical assembly, fitting, and maintenance of bespoke machinery. From building sub-assemblies to final machine assembly, your expertise will ensure each machine meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mechanical fitting and assembly of custom machinery and components
  2. Changing bearings, seals, and fitting motors
  3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and mechanical schematics
  4. Using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment
  5. Working to tight tolerances with a focus on safety and quality

What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven mechanical fitting experience - ideally within a machinery or manufacturing environment
  2. Comfortable with mechanical fault finding and component replacement (bearings, seals, motors, etc.)
  3. Ability to use a wide range of hand tools confidently and safely
  4. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings
  5. A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
