Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter - Coleford, Gloucestershire - Permanent - 37.5 hours working 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm - Monday to Friday - £basic plus shift allowance - Excellent benefits - Interviewing ASAP

Due to continued growth over the past couple of years, our client is looking to increase the team and is seeking two Fitters/Mechanical Assemblers on a permanent basis.

The successful Fitters/Mechanical Assemblers will be responsible for:

1. Assembling and building products from Engineering drawings
2. Using power and hand tools
3. Raising any assembly issues with QA Engineer and Supervisor
4. Filling in production data books with project critical information requested
5. Completing check quality sheets
6. Complying with health, safety, and environmental rules as detailed in risk assessments and COSHH sheets
7. Operating overhead cranes
8. Working as part of a team

In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to read from engineering drawings and have worked within a similar environment.
