Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Mechanical Fitter can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter will include:

1. Building and assembling a range of industrial rotating equipment
2. Dynamic balancing of components, including impellors, shafts and rotors
3. Reading, interpreting and working directly from a range of technical drawings, BOMs and schematics, ensuring that products are built in line with tolerances and specifications

Qualifications:

For the Mechanical Fitter position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following:

1. Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.)
2. Previous experience working in an assembly and/or building role, ideally within industrial rotating equipment (pumps, gearboxes, compressors, turbines, valves, diesel engines etc.)

Working Hours of the Mechanical Fitter:

37 Hours per week working a regular day shift

1. Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30
2. Friday - 07:00 to 12:30

In return, the Mechanical Fitter will receive:

1. Annual Salary: £35,739.20 (£18.58 per hour)
2. Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
3. Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
4. Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
5. Access to the onsite canteen (subsidised) and gym
6. Opportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150%
7. Free onsite car parking
