Your new company
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company with an unrivalled reputation within the building services sector. The company offers comprehensive electrical and mechanical design, installation, and maintenance services across various sectors.
Your new role
We are urgently seeking a Mechanical Estimator to assist with the delivery of our Central-based projects. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Sending out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors.
  2. Taking off drawings and inputting data into estimation software.
  3. Analysing received quotations to ensure compliance with tender information.
  4. Completing tender analysis, including preliminary costs.
  5. Customising the master tender letter and summary to suit submission requirements and incorporating any specific clarifications.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Experience working for leading M&E sub-contractors.
  2. A strong mechanical background with relevant industry qualifications and experience.
  3. Experience in estimating the full mechanical package is preferred, but not essential. Applicants with a positive attitude and willingness to expand into the role will be considered.
