Mechanical Engineering Teacher

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Teacher with a robust background in mechanical engineering, ideally experienced in delivering BTEC lessons focused on design and materials. This role is particularly suited for candidates who can teach Engineering Product Design, covering essential areas such as design principles and material science.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver BTEC lessons in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design and materials.
  • Teach Engineering Product Design, incorporating key concepts of design principles and material science.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet educational standards.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods to suit varying learning styles.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject matter and educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
