Are you a mechanical engineer with experience in engines, looking to train into a Power Generation Engineer role where you will gain a skillset within the renewable energy industry securing yourself a futureproof job?

The company is a leading landfill operator in the UK - looking to change the way waste is dealt with across the country. With zero carbon goals, this is an opportunity to join the carbon zero revolution by facilitating the conversion of waste into renewable energy on an industrial scale. In this role, you will be maintaining and servicing power generation equipment.

The Role:

1. Service and maintenance of heavy industrial engines, along with other power generation equipment such as CHP engines, Gas Reciprocating Engines and more.
2. Preventative, reactive and breakdown services.
3. Fault diagnosis - with record keeping and log taking.
4. 1 in 5 call out rota - paid at a standby rate AND enhanced rate.

The Candidate:

1. Mechanical Engineer - experience in maintenance and repair.
2. Time served or qualified.
3. Experience in petrol / diesel engine maintenance / overhauls / repairs.
4. Perfect for those in army, agricultural or heavy plant industries.
