ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

Grangemouth represents one of INEOS’ largest manufacturing sites by volume of products with our world-scale petrochemical plants making around 1.4 million tonnes per annum of product. One of these products is Ethylene, produced by the KG Cracker. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join the KG Engineering Team in the position of Static Mechanical Engineer, a crucial role in delivering safe and reliable operation of the many mechanical items of pressure systems equipment across the asset.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  1. Be capable of delivering a pressure systems and non-pressure systems mechanical integrity programme to achieve legal compliance and meet site standards for asset integrity, reliability and efficiency for all mechanical static equipment on KG.
  2. Drive the implementation of mechanical site standards, procedures and practices in support of full compliance for the KG Asset including assurance activities and continuous improvements.
  3. Possess the necessary skillset to manage multi-disciplined work scopes within agreed budgets and timescales with the flexibility to safely adapt to change.

You may also:

  1. Have the ability to proactively challenge working practices and engineering standards in an appropriate manner where business or engineering benefits can be achieved.
  2. Have theoretical knowledge of the operating environment covering all mechanical static items of equipment including critical ancillaries.
