Mechanical Engineer Openings (Junior to Senior, Building Services) - Remote - 30-55K

*Remote with rare travel to meetings/building sites across the UK, mainly the Scottish Central Belt.*

Lorien's client, an award-winning and rapidly growing Scottish success story, is looking to expand their team due to increased business demand and upcoming projects.

They are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers with backgrounds in (or looking to get into) Building Services, open to candidates at various stages of their career from Junior to Senior positions. There are opportunities for everyone to learn and grow, as they are well poised to help talented individuals reach their potential.

For your talents, they offer remote working (with rare trips to clients mainly in the Scottish Central Belt), a full home office setup to ensure you have all the necessary equipment and software, expenses covered for home working to offset utilities, and more.

You will work with a team of design specialists, tackling mechanical engineering projects across a varied work pipeline for both new and repeat clients, including retail, industrial, residential, and more. They also have established upskilling programs so you can continue to learn and develop your skills while delivering a variety of work.

The kind of skills/knowledge they're looking for:

• Mechanical Design background and extensive work in Building Services
• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services
• Ability to drive and access to a car for rare client meetings/site visits
• For more senior posts, ideally a background in team leadership/management/mentoring/guidance
