Are you a passionate and experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking for an opportunity to make a real impact?

Join our dynamic team and play a vital role in shaping the future of ourestate. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical building service projects, from initial design and engineering drawings to overseeing installations.

You'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining high-quality, sustainable environments for our students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven Expertise: Significant post-qualification experience within engineering/construction project teams, demonstrating your ability to deliver successful projects.
  • Project Leadership: A knack for managing clients and contractors effectively, guiding them through the briefing process and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: A practical mindset with the ability to develop innovative and efficient engineering solutions for new mechanical installation requirements.
  • Exceptional Communication: The ability to translate technical details for non-construction professionals and build strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organized and Driven: Excellent planning skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and managing multiple priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in AutoCAD and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A Commitment to Growth: A willingness to embrace new training, procedures, and stay at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Solid Foundation: An HND in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Building Services, and ideally an ILM Level 2 in Management (or willingness to obtain). Additional accreditations in specialized mechanical disciplines and NEBOSH General Certificate are highly valued.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: A full driving license and the ability to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours work if required.
