Tasks/ Responsibilities

  • Design Verification of mechanical discipline, especially on subsea equipment, such as manifold, PLEM, Tie-in connectors, Wellhead connectors and other underwater installations, covering both engineering and installation phase.
  • Carry out independent FEM analysis relevant mechanical integrity of load bearing equipment;
  • Consultancy work for integrity assessment for subsea structures, equipment and tools.
  • Managing project to close cooperation with customers.

Position Qualifications

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Engineering degree (Master or above) preferably within offshore engineering or solid mechanics major, with minimum of 5 years of design experience on offshore industry.
  • Experience with technical rules and regulations (API, ISO, DNV).
  • Background in design of offshore facilities or subsea structures.
  • Able to perform site visit tasks on offshore, and willingness to perform business trips to support our clients as well as our worldwide organization.
  • Ability to handle several projects in parallel.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented.
  • Ability to build trust, confidence and respect.
  • Flexible, service-minded and with a positive attitude.
  • Honest, open and committed to DNV’s purpose, visions and values.
  • Good communication skills, verbally and in writing. The company language is English.
