Mechanical Engineer

rhames Ltd are one of the UK's leading electro mechanical specialists within industries which require separation technology, manufacturing, and associated new equipment. rhames operates from its centrally based headquarters in Nottingham and various other locations throughout the UK to provide our clients with turn-key design, project management & manufacturing/maintenance services. Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Electro/Mechanical Engineer/Technician, based out of our premises in Nottingham, with positions available nationwide.

Main Purpose: Maximising the operating efficiency of machinery including maintenance & installation at customer sites in the UK.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Mechanical installations for the process industry including maintenance of centrifuge, drum thickener & bell press.
2. Carrying out regular testing and maintenance of machinery.
3. Maintain a safe working environment.
4. Work with others and contribute to effective working relationships.
5. Resolve problems in a timely manner.

Essential Experience of Mechanical Maintenance:

1. Minimum or equivalent of 3 GCSEs.
2. Adaptable & flexible.
3. Problem solver.
4. Excellent organisational skills.
5. Highly motivated and a team player.
