Initial 3-month contract / Outside IR35

£30.00p/h - £35.00p/h DOE

Process Capital Equipment

I am recruiting for a well-established global market leader who design and manufacture process capital equipment to clients worldwide. They require a Draughtsperson on an initial 3-month contract with a likelihood of extension for a successful candidate.

For the position of Mechanical Draughtsperson, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

• Design and detailing using Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD
• Structural steelwork design on capital equipment
• Producing BOMs & production drawings
• Production of fabrication drawings, general arrangements, and layouts
• Report into the design team lead

The successful Mechanical Draughstperson will need to have the following attributes:

• Strong appreciation of structural steelwork and fabrications
• Expert in the use and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor & 2D AutoCAD
• An astute professional, with the ability to excel within a design team
• Qualified to degree level (preferable) – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• A team player, who strives for excellence
