Mechanical Draughtsperson

We have an exciting opportunity to join a company specialising in the design and supply of high-quality handling systems, including palletisers, robots, and packaging equipment. Working closely with renowned industry partners, the business delivers bespoke solutions that are tailored to meet strict deadlines, budgets, and client specifications.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual with a strong background in CAD design and mechanical engineering. It would particularly suit someone with experience in manufacturing or automation who enjoys transforming concepts into precise, functional designs. A self-motivated person who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment will excel here.

Key Responsibilities

1. Produce detailed technical and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor
2. Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production and procurement
3. Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to develop bespoke design solutions
4. Review and revise designs in accordance with project requirements and customer feedback
5. Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with industry and company standards

In return you'll receive a salary up to 35k and 20 days holiday initially rising 1 day per year until hitting 30 (plus bank holidays).
