£35,000 to £38,000 + Overtime + Specialist Training + Progression
Commutable from Wigan, Blackburn, Skelmersdale, Bolton, Ormskirk, Chorley, Warrington, Preston

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to expand your skillset and get on board with an established and growing market-leading Company? In this technically challenging position, you will play an essential role overseeing new and existing product design from conception to manufacture. You will oversee the entire design process, from design to prototyping and testing.

This company are cornerstones of their niche market, providing essential products to a variety of industries. They are currently undergoing a busy period, undertaking new and technically challenging projects. As a result of recent success, they now looking to strengthen their established and knowledgeable design engineering department, making this an excellent time to get on board.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, looking to expand their skillset in a niche and exciting industry, working on a variety of projects where you can make a direct impact on the company and its success.

The role

• Manage the entire design process from conception to manufacturing
• Work on a range of exciting products
• Ongoing training and development
• Occasional and international travel

The person

• Mechanical Design experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with 3D CAD software, prototyping, product testing and associated calculations
• HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related
