The Role: A global manufacturer and exporter of HVAC seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to offer technical and design support to their clients on specialist water cooled, refrigerated, chilled and heat pump HVAC systems. The role gives you the opportunity to utilise the direct global research and development investment of a global manufacturing company and you will be part of a team with the responsibility to ensure that they continue to lead the market with their product offering and retain their competitive advantage. You will work in a team environment liaising with M&E consultants and contractors, giving technical advice, designing, planning and quoting on heating and cooling system selections for both commercial and multi-residential projects.

Experience Required: There is flexibility on your experience and background; however, it will be ideal if you have an engineering background and qualifications along with experience within HVAC, covering air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, water cooling, heat pumps, plumbing and piping. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge on chilled water cooling, ventilation and heat pump solutions and have experience performing mathematical calculations such as heat loss, heat gain, load, pressure, psychometric and volumetric.

The Package: Initial indications by the client are a salary range of between £50,000 and £60,000 with a performance based £20k bonus depending on your level of experience and suitability for the role.
