About the mechanical design engineer position

You will work within a friendly engineering team, reporting to the engineering manager; duties to include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical components and systems from concept to production.
  • Creating detailed 2D & 3D SolidWorks models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Working closely with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless product development.
  • Conducting prototype testing and validation, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing technical recommendations.
What you'll need to apply for the mechanical design engineer position
  • An HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Well-developed 3D CAD skills.
  • Experience in both engineering and aesthetic design elements.
  • Project management experience.
