Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: 45,000

About the Position

HBG Recruitment is working with a well-known client based in the Northeast looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 years of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The design, development, verification, and implementation of technically innovative and commercially viable solutions.
• Ensure that all component parts and products are designed in strict compliance with mandatory national and international regulatory requirements and standards.
• Maintain and improve existing products and components for quality improvement, production efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Manage and lead projects when required, providing engineering leadership to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, from concept through to launch.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings, costing data, design calculations, bills of materials, and test data.
• Assist the Engineering Management team as required.
