Job description

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join a leading company in the hygiene industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both new product development and in-market modifications, contributing to innovative and high-quality designs.

This role is key in supporting the Design and Development team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for producing concepts, estimating project timescales and ensuring designs are suitable for manufacturing. The role also involves assisting with internal and external audits, product testing and generating technical documentation, including 2D and 3D drawings.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in product design, a strong background in design for manufacturing and injection moulding, with proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Photoshop would be beneficial. Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
