We are a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of intelligent management systems for keys and equipment. From an idea conceived nearly 30 years ago for the airline industry, today we supply to some of the world's largest retailers including Walmart and Ikea.

We are continuing to grow our Design Team and now have a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will play a key part in the mechanical design and development of our next generation products as well as supporting continuous improvement on our current product range. The role will involve the development of concepts into production products whilst demonstrating innovative design techniques. You will be working closely with other areas of the business at all levels throughout our global network. We invite applications from Mechanical Design Engineers with the following attributes:

1. Educated to minimum HNC or equivalent in a mechanical engineering subject.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechanical design/product design role.
3. Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
4. Experience with CAD revision control systems, preferably Autodesk Vault Professional.
5. Experience of managing mechanical design projects.
6. Experience of presenting reports (written & verbal) at all levels within the organisation.
7. Knowledge & understanding of sheet metal work, injection moulding, die-casting & extrusion design & manufacturing processes.
8. Understanding of Electro-mechanical product development.
