• Growing technology development and manufacturing business – moving to a brand-new purpose-built facility in 2025 to support future business growth.

• £35,000 to £45,000 salary commensurate with experience + pension + private medical + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

This Mechanical Design Engineer job will suit:

• A Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer with a passion for developing and implementing innovative product and manufacturing solutions.

• You will be a confident and experienced user of 3D CAD. SolidWorks CAD experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Specific experience of designing fabricated components, machined metal components, bespoke equipment would be advantageous.

• You are likely to be degree qualified in mechanical engineering, product design engineering, or similar discipline.

This Mechanical Design Engineer job will involve:

• Working closely with customers to create concepts, design, and implement innovative product and manufacturing solutions.

• This is a truly varied role whereby you will have responsibility for delivering your own projects from start to finish including all the design/technical elements.

• Producing CAD designs and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

• Support manufacturing and prototype build.

• You will be working within a multi-disciplined engineering (mechanical/electrical/control) delivering complete engineering solutions to an ever-growing customer base.
