Mechanical Projects Manager

A large leading MEP client with an excellent reputation is looking for a Mechanical Project/Contracts Manager to join their team. The role will be based in Devon and we are looking for a Project/Contract Manager with a tier 1 or tier 2 background. Projects will range from 40 - 70 million. The company has a great staff retention rate due to their ongoing support in training and there is scope for career progression within the company.

The Contracts/Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of their projects in line with internal policies, procedures, EHSQ and financial targets. This Mechanical Projects/Contracts Manager role reports to the Operations Manager.

The successful Mechanical Project/Contracts Manager must have:

  1. At least 5 years experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager/Project Manager
  2. Attend site weekly to monitor progress and quality
  3. Have an in-depth understanding of projects from a mechanical perspective
  4. Experience and Qualifications: Trade or Engineering Background
  5. 5 years post qualification experience in Construction/Project Management
  6. Proven experience in MS Project, MS Office Suite
  7. Excellent Communication, Organisation and Leadership skills
