Mechanical Construction Manager

A Mechanical Construction Manager is required for one of the UK's largest M&E contractors. Our client has won a new build high-end residential project consisting of 300 luxury apartments in Bermondsey. This is a 24-month mechanical fit-out project, and we are looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

1. Sub Contractor Management
2. LTHW, CHW, CCHW, pipe fitting, pumps, valves, FCUs, Ventilation, Ductwork, toilets, sinks, taps, radiators, and all associated mechanical duties
3. Know the process of the handover of apartments including HIUs, MVHRs, first fix plumbing, and finals
4. Quality control
5. Health and Safety
6. Ordering of materials on site
7. Computer Literate use of Word, Excel, and other programmes
8. Read Programmes
9. Giving toolbox talks
10. Managing different mechanical trades
11. Client progression meetings
12. Completing daily reports for clients
13. Producing method statements and risk assessments
14. Liaising with main contractor/client/sub-contractors
15. Ensuring health and safety regulations are always met
16. Weekly toolbox talks
17. Time management of contractors/tasks
18. Completing paperwork relevant for key stages of projects
19. Ordering/inventory of materials
20. Attending meetings with other trades/builder to ensure smooth collaborations and that expectations/time deadlines are met
