We’re Hiring: Mechanical Build Engineer

Location: Kingswinford, Midlands

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

️ Role Type: Permanent

Hours: Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:15 | Fri: 07:30–12:30

What You’ll Do:

Machine Assembly: Build and assemble bespoke machinery, including spindles, clamps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Precision Work: Perform base leveling and alignment of mechanical systems to ensure flawless functionality.

Systems Installation: Install hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems in compliance with industry standards.

Onsite Support: Conduct installations, repairs, and upgrades at client sites across the UK and internationally.

Machining Expertise: Operate tools such as millers, lathes, and grinders to fabricate or modify components.

Collaboration: Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure project success.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in bespoke machine building, specifically spindle assembly and base leveling.

Mechanical Engineering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC).

Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and fluid schematics.

Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.

Familiarity with machine shop tools and precision measurement.

Problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Flexibility to work overtime and travel internationally.

A valid UK driving license and passport.
