Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Contracts and Bid Manager within the Mechanical and Electrical field. My client, a forward-thinking and innovative leader within their field, is seeking a Bid Manager to support with the tendering and bidding on new projects in both the private and public sector. This newly created role will lead this new division, securing and managing large-scale contracts with councils, housing associations, and framework agreements.
The Contracts & Bid Manager will be responsible for identifying, bidding for, and securing new tenders while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and industry accreditations. The role requires a mix of bid writing, business development, and contract management, making it ideal for someone who has a proven track record in winning tenders and managing contracts. There will be heavy involvement with internal and external stakeholders; therefore, the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
You must be highly organised as you will need to compile full bids & tenders, liaising with internal teams throughout the business and parent company.
This Bid Manager position is a newly created position; however, you will have a strong support system from the senior level team.
